The terms below apply to the services provided by CleanMode and to the use of this website.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") set out the basis on which CleanMode ("we", "us", "our") provides cleaning services and on which you ("you", "the client") may use our website. By requesting a quote, booking a service, or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
CleanMode provides commercial and residential cleaning services across Wellington and surrounding suburbs, including office, building, Airbnb and short-stay, education, and specialised cleaning. The specific services, frequency, and areas to be cleaned will be agreed with you and set out in your quote or booking confirmation.
Quotes are free and provided without obligation. Quotes are based on the information you give us and, where relevant, an assessment of the premises. A quote is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. If the actual scope of work differs from what was quoted (for example, the size or condition of the premises), we may revise the price after discussing it with you. All prices are in New Zealand dollars and, where applicable, include GST.
A booking is confirmed once we have agreed the service, date, and price with you. For recurring services, we will agree a regular schedule. We will make reasonable efforts to attend at the agreed times, but occasionally timing may be affected by circumstances beyond our control, in which case we will let you know as soon as possible.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a fee to cover costs already committed. We may also cancel or reschedule where necessary (for example, for health and safety reasons), and will give you as much notice as we reasonably can.
Unless agreed otherwise, invoices are payable within 7 days of the invoice date. We accept payment by bank transfer. We reserve the right to charge interest or suspend services on overdue accounts. Please contact us promptly if you have any query about an invoice.
You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the premises at the agreed times. Where you provide keys, alarm codes, or other access details, we will keep them secure and use them only for the purpose of providing the agreed services.

We take pride in our work and stand behind it. If you are not satisfied with any part of a clean, please let us know within 24 hours and we will return to put it right at no extra charge. This satisfaction guarantee is in addition to, and does not limit, any rights you may have under New Zealand consumer law.
We carry appropriate insurance and take care in carrying out our services. If you believe we have caused loss or damage, please notify us in writing as soon as possible so we can investigate. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to re-performing the services or the cost of doing so. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where those Acts apply.
We are committed to working safely and complying with applicable health and safety obligations. You agree to tell us about any known hazards at the premises and to co-operate with reasonable health and safety requirements.
When you contact us or request a quote, we collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, and details about your enquiry. We use this information only to respond to you and provide our services, and we handle it in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. We do not sell your personal information. You may ask us to access or correct the information we hold about you by contacting us at the details below.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with the "last updated" date shown above. Continuing to use our services or website after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of New Zealand.
